Administrated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency (FSA), NAIP imagery is collected during the agricultural growing season for leaf-on aerials. Digital ortho quarter quad tiles (DOQQs) or compressed county mosaics (CCM) are available. The ground sample distance (GSD) is 1m, and files include Natural Color Imagery (NCI) for Michigan and Color Infrared (CIR) imagery for some counties.
NAIP imagery for each of the 83 counties in Michigan can be downloaded by clicking on the relevant county in the map below. Currently, only data from 2005 and 2006 can be downloaded; additional years will be added soon.
